POST-TENSION CABLE REPAIR

E J Blanck Company has several years of experience in repairing post-tension cables.  Our PTI certified technicans will find the best solution and most cost effective way to restore or replace broken cables . Below are a few examples of repairs we have completed. 


POST-TENSION CABLE REPAIR WITH TWISTED RING ANCHOR

This repair shows five post-tension cables repaired using twisted ring anchors.  These anchors are used when there is no access to the outside pocket at termination.

POST-TENSION CABLE REPAIR WITH PVC PIPE

This repair was done using PVC Pipe so that the concrete can be poured back before stressing of the post-tension cables.

REPAIR OF POST-TENSION CABLE BLOW-OUT

This picture is a repair of a blow-out on a post-tension banded line.  This type of repair can be dangerous due to the cables are still partially tensioned.  The cables must be de-tensioned prior to repair.
